Renine de Bruin is the owner of Exhale Colon Clinic & Aesthetics. She qualified as an Aesthetician/Beaty therapist in 2005 and worked in the UK for a few years before returning home to SA. She chose to live in the gorgeous Eastern Cape in Jeffreys Bay. It is in Jeffreys Bay at Aqua Spa where she cultivated and grew her passion for skincare and helping people for the last decade. She soon realised that what you put into your body is equally important as the lotions and potions that you apply onto the skin.
Round about the time she returned to SA she met a wonderful lady called Inge who owned Exhale Colon Clinic; and Inge introduced her to the world of Colon Hydrotherapy or as it is more commonly known as Colonics. Now she mentioned that she have a passion for helping people and in her quest to find the best skin care regime for her clients, her research showed how important gut health was for your skin. She became more and more intrigued by the role that our gut and its health played in our lives, not only to achieve flawless skin, but just for general health and wellbeing. She qualified as a Colon Hydro Therapist in 2019 and took over the business from Inge. Exhale Colon Clinic & Aesthetics was opened at the Policlinic in Jeffreys Bay in February 2020. Now for those who has never heard of Colon Hydrotherapy, Colonics or Colon Irrigation; it is a gentle infusion of warm, filtered water that involves the removal of impurities from the colon such as faecal matter, toxins, mucus and parasites. With the use of specialised equipment, purified, pressure-controlled water is sent into the colon through the back passage by using a disposable speculum which is placed into the rectum. The speculum has an inlet for water and an outlet for waste tubing. The treatment duration is around 45minutes in which only a mild feeling of pressure will be experienced during the number of fill and release stages (administered at your comfort level), removing the waste directly into a closed waste system. ![]()

They wanted to make the land work for them and as they are not farmers, they decided to go into holiday accommodations. It took Louise over a year to collect all the perfect pieces for the cottage. Scouring scrap yards, boot sales, markets etc. Their cottage is unique and quaint and hidden in the bush. Then Covid hit and they were hit financially like alot of people. But now people are visiting from all over the world and all the guests love it there. They want to build more cottages so as to accommodate families etc. But this is going to take time. Louise is a mom, friend, daughter and wife with a side hustle of being a Pilates instructor at Edge Fitness in Walmer. Her mantra is Carpe Diem. Corney but true. She takes life by the horns and shakes it. All with a smile and a sense of humour.

You Sew Girl was originally started as a source of a second income for a single mom (Vanessa Weber). As she had a background of fashion design, tailoring, modelling and make up artistry, she pretty much stuck to what she loved most and knew best. Vanessa is a huge believer in empowering others and finds it fulfilling to see others grow. Their Beginners sewing classes are open to male and female alike where they will teach you how to sew. If the knowledge you acquire is applied, the possibilities at earning an income or starting up a small business are endless, with little capital needed from making curtains, bedding, clothing to horse blankets, dog leads or safety clothing the list goes on...
They will soon be opening a branch in Greenbushes for those in the area with no access to transport to their current venue in the evenings and are super excited about this as the lady they will be training used to be Vanessa's domestic. All thanks for any success to God Almighty. V-Models was born from a previously broken business relationship sadly. As difficult as it was for Vanessa to move through that transition phase it turned to work in her absolute favor just as the Lord promises us. It taught her well, that He sees farther than we do and we simply need to trust in Him even when we do not understand. Again she chose teaching as she found it exceptionally fulfilling to train kids and young adults and simply watch them grow and gain self confidence and simply blossom, love it!!! Again all thanks alone to the loving Creator. ![]()

Bridgette Pieterse heads up the Move 1 Million non-political movement in Port Elizabeth in her capacity as Regional Representative.
M1M is a non political movement established in the height of COVID by a man named Jarette Petzer who was instrumental in the establishment of the movement 'Im Staying', whose manifesto was to encourage ordinary SA Citizens to express and motivate people into why they are staying in a hopeful country even although the circumstances seemed hopeless. 'Im staying' encouraged South Africans to say why they are staying and not abandoning their beautiful country. M1M started by Jarette with the full intentions of launching a movement for change by the people of ALL races ALL religions and All Cultures through random acts of kindness taking this attitude and asking South Africans to join a movement to move 1 million people to work from the ground up. The Movement was birthed and the first event was on 5th September where 550 000 South Africans all over the world took to the street to call for unity and change in SA against all the ills we were experiencing as a country such as Gender Based Violence, farm murders, corruption and basic human rights etc. Bridgette has another business called M.A.D. Making A Difference in your community. She takes learners as they enter high school on a 3 day camp. This camp is designed to educate motivate and expose learners as they enter into teenage years, about life and choices and their consequences. Her material is written and presented by registered counselors. There are workshops involved as well as practicals. ![]()

Kim Taljaard and her husband left the corporate world in 2013. They both felt God’s call to take vulnerable babies in crisis into their home and love and care for them as if they were their own. Realizing they also needed to put food on the table, they combined their love of cooking and passion for feeding people and their confidence in the benefits of low carb, gluten and sugar free food and Bantalicious was born.
They are the proud parents to 2 foster children who are severely mentally and physically disabled and have therefore chosen to work from home. In partnership with Khulisani, they have also incorporated a training program into the Bantalicious bakery for mentally and physically disabled people, providing them with training, income and a sense of self-worth. They currently have a staff compliment of 1 baker, 1 packager/carer and 1 cleaner, plus herself and her husband. They also supplied several shops in Port Elizabeth, but when the opportunity arose to retail her Bantalicious product in her own store; Kim jumped at the chance to make her product available to the public at a more affordable price. On 17 Feb of this year, 2020, they opened a shop in Main Road, Walmer called Yumm. It is a small but well positioned retail space for Kim to sell her product, Bantalicious along with other specialty foods like vegan, vegetarian and diabetic friendly food not just the banting food her bakery produces. It’s a space where other women (sometimes men) like herself can showcase their product and in so doing meet the increasing need for food for people with specific dietary requirements. In her experience, these people are often subjected to high prices and awful tasting food in the name of “nutrition”. At Yumm they will always try to offer affordable, locally sourced and great tasting food that you can trust! If you would like to supply their shop with vegan, or gluten free, or sugar free, or banting, or keto food, please get in touch with Kim. ![]()

Mardon was born raised in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) by a single parent (Mom) in Timothy Vally Bethelsdorp, up until a certain age and there he moved to live with his aunt and uncle. He reached and completed Grade 12 in 2011 where he was head boy at Chatty Senior Secondary School.
He got an opportunity to work at Best Home Electric and worked for approximately three years as a salesperson and did exceptionally well there but got another job at a Telecommunications Company (Atio). At the Telecommunications Company, he was part of the Telkom Subcontractors, here he did network engineering and worked there for three years as well. In 2014, he decided to create his own business, while still working as a Telkom subcontractor since he had some time in his hands and needed the extra cash. But this business idea only commenced after his wife started having a huge ambition to obtain her driver’s license. This encouraged them to get their own small car and Mardon made it his mission to read up and get to know all there is about the K53 procedures to teach her how to drive, she was discouraged at first. He tried his best to let her feel at ease and even did research with regards to K53 and all the necessary details to ensure that she feels prepared. At this point there were no extra funds for her to actually go to a driving school, so Mardon knew that teaching her himself would be the only way for her to obtain her license. At the end, after three years of preparation she obtained her driver's license and has become one of the most confident drivers around. After seeing the incredible results, and all the confidence his wife had obtained after his lessons, he knew for sure that this field is something he was passionate about. Mardon then started reaching out to friends and family and started offering his services to them. At the same time, he also trained himself to learn more about the road and focus on ways which he can create a driving school that is beyond just driving but that helps his clients become confident. Mardon's Driving Academy has become a business that he is so passionate about. From starting off with one single car and even having to fix that car many times over and over just in order to keep the business going was tough. But they remained persistent and about four months ago they bought almost four brand new cars. That is why its important to never give up. The business keeps growing from strength to strength and glory to glory. As the business grew so did the team involved, and the support grew immensely, and Mardon is extremely grateful and thankful to God, firstly for where He took them from and where his taking them to. He would also not have been able to do it without the team, their assistance, effort, and time has brought Mardons Driving Academy to the place where it is today. All the previous, current, and present clients, thank you for choosing Mardons Driving Academy. They are blessed as Mardons Driving Academy and help them to be a blessing to you. ![]()
