The Christian Dance Fellowship South Africa is a non-profit national organization affiliated to the International Christian Dance Fellowship (ICDF). ICDF is an inter-denominational fellowship involved in establishing and maintaining a standard in the area of dance and movement ministries. Its aim is to build bridges between both the professional and amateur through workshops, conferences, resources for the encouragement and fellowship of each believer that desires to express their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through movement and dance.
During high school, Melanie Erasmus became a Christian after attending a church event. Dance was a big part of her life since the age of 4 years. After becoming a Christian, she was not sure if she could further her dance within the church. After about a year, she felt the Lord ushering her into using her dance for His Kingdom. She did not know what the rules were at this point but went forward listening to his leading every step of the way.
CHARISMA DANCE GROUP
Melanie started a group called Charisma with 3 of her sisters and a best friend. They all had been dancers and committed their lives to Christ. Their first performance was in the early 80’s at a youth camp. Quickly thereafter, they found themselves ministering every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
At that time church dance was not heard of in their communities. Before they could practically dance, they had to minister the biblical basis for dance in a worship setting. They encountered opposition but as young people, they knew that God was calling them to be ambassadors in Christian dance. Soon after, they were asked to do workshops and teach dance in most of the denominations in South Africa. They ministered at most youth rallies and coffee bars in Cape Town every weekend, invited guest dance group for the National Youth Week, hosted by Youth for Christ in Magaliesburg, opening act for the International group Petra. Nominated to be the opening act for DC Talk. Scripture union camp and youth performances. Ron Kenoly worship dance team etc.

Rosemary Lavers is the founder and Managing Director of Heart to Heart Tutoring.
She teaches at Redhouse Primary School as a Grade R Practitioner. She is extremely passionate about teaching children to read, which is her first love.
Her father ran a pre-school when she was a toddler. He taught her to read and write before she started school. A Fire was created inside of her, when she saw children struggling over the years to read.
She has been tutoring for 22 years and for most of these 22 years she has tutored and helped for free.
As God revealed His purpose for creating her, she left private ECD and started working at Redhouse Primary in 2015.
She was enrolled at Early Inspiration, where she completed her Level 2 and Level 4 for the 3rd time due to Colleges not being registered with Seta. All her previous qualifications where not recognized, but at Early Inspiration her life changed! She won the Practitioner of the year award and later she won the Most innovative Business Award.
Early Inspiration provided her with Practitioner Support and funded her to attend numerous short courses as a benefit of studying through them. Of the many courses she attended, two of them really impacted her business namely; Financial Literacy and ECD Centre Compliance. Claire Devine facilitated both of these courses and inspired Rosemary to make her Tutoring an official, profitable business.
Since then Heart to Heart Tutoring has grown, then the pandemic hit and it hit her hard. Zifundise Training and Consulting came to the rescue, giving Heart to Heart a safe haven to start over.
Rosemary Lavers believes in Holistic Development, before each Tutoring day... She reminds her team that they carry the future in their hands.
When times get tough... Rosemary reminds herself that this is her calling...
Her business is built on Matt 6:21 "For wherever your treasure is, your heart will be also!"
She believes that God sends each and every child according to His purpose and that your gift will make room for you.
She looks forward to seeing what God has in store for Heart to Heart Tutoring. Many lives impacted and changed, not only the children but the tutors as well.

“Nothing but Solutions"
Lauren grew up in a very family oriented house with 4 other siblings. Growing up, dinner was a good home cooked plate of food consisting of a protein, veg and starch. On a Sunday it was all about family time and a meal consisting of a roast meat, different veggies, rice with gravy and roast potatoes of course.
Over time, life has become so busy and we all get into a rat race forgetting to make time for family as our careers are prioritized. For the last few years she has seen this in a lot of family and friends, as well as herself.
Lauren was in the motor industry for many years working 5 to 6 days a week, and most days 7am to 7pm so the last thing she wanted to do on a Sunday is spend hours cooking. That is very much a nut shell of what inspired her to start her own business, providing a healthy, flavorful, proper Sunday lunch at a very reasonable and fair price.
Lauren absolutely loves cooking and also learning new recipes. She has started this as a business officially from the beginning of August, with the menu for the full month being published. She has had a lot of support, but just like any business it will take time to build a reputation especially when it comes to food. Already it has taken off better than what she expected for the beginning. At the moment Lauren is compiling an everyday menu for dinners as she has had a lot of requests to do so, so that will be published and offered soon.

Edward Kgarose(32) from Limpopo, the founder of Kgarose Kgaros, a company that produces healthy yoghurt from sweet potatoes in three flavours: banana, strawberry and apricot.
Edward has set a new trend after discovering
an untapped gap in the yoghurt market. Since inventing his unconventional sweet potato drinkable yoghurt, he has won numerous awards and travelled abroad to introduce it to
Call it coincidence or pure luck, but the inspiration for his innovative treat was sparked in his mother’s kitchen. “Mother was busy cooking sweet potato and I was eating yoghurt. Then I asked myself, what if it is possible for me to produce a yoghurt with this sweet potato?”
Today he runs an agribusiness called Kgarose Kgaros, launched in 2016 and producing sweet
potato drinking yoghurt. The root vegetable is used as the main ingredient to which either
banana, strawberry or apricot flavours are added. The innovative drinking yoghurt also comes in a vegan friendly option.
Kgarose’s entrepreneurial spirit was stimulated in 2015 while attending one of many business
summits in his area. He recalls hearing that same thing in almost every summit, that there is a need for entrepreneurs and youth interest in agro-processing. “One day I thought, no man, why are these people always complaining that there’s no youth in agro-processing? It seems like there is an opportunity for me here,”.
And although, to some, the idea of making a yoghurt beverage out of sweet potato might
have seemed silly and far-out at the time, Kgarose couldn’t care less. He bought ingredients the following day and started experimenting with tastes and textures until he came up with what he thought was a winning banana flavour.
Three months later Kgarose had a drinking yoghurt that he was satisfied with and started
selling, using money he had saved up and received from his mother. For about two months the entrepreneur sold his yoghurt beverage from home to local retail stores, until he started operating from a mini factory in Polokwane and employed two people.

Carol's love for nature and gardening was something that enthralled her daily from an early age.
She remembers playing in the garden as a young child, vigorously climbing trees and excitedly exploring her natural surroundings. Instinctively she was surrounding herself with the pure beauty of mother nature .
Carol's gran played a huge role in her love for gardening. Some of her happiest memories are of her being barefoot outdoors in the sun happily listening to her chatter about the various plants, fruit and vegetables growing in their garden. Needless to say, with them growing up in Durban, they had many chilli trees growing and Carol was the chief picker and eater.
When she chose to study for a future career, Carol chose the hospitality industry as cooking was something she had always been passionate about. But as life would have it she became a stay at home mom instead and then worked part time to supplement her family's income.
She chose to become a landscaper four years ago as a career as she is passionate about gardening and firmly believes that an individual's outside area definitely affects their inner well being and state of mind.
It has been a long road to date and Carol is extremely happy and privileged to now be mentored and working alongside Barbara who has been in the profession for 15 years.
Obviously with Covid hitting them so suddenly and with the ongoing drought situation Carol now finds herself in a position of not being able to find enough work to sustain herself, so she has now added garden servicing to her business, but once again more work is needed to make this sustainable.

Chanele’ Moodley is a mom of two precious little kiddies – Noah and Hayley. And a wife to a amazing husband Lucian who is also her right hand man! She is the Owner, admin lady , creative and everything that goes with it behind the scenes. She has a passion for creating magical moments for both young and old.
The main focus of Magical Parties has always been kids parties supplies and stationery, however they are able to and have provided for many other special occasions. All their products are handmade and supplies are locally sourced. Chanele’ is able to provide you with everything you need to make your special day one to remember. She also provides all your stationery needs as well as personalized branding and gifting.
Magical parties was a business idea that sparked just before Chanele’s daughter turned 1 - but this only became a reality in 2020. This is when she decided to take the step of faith and just go for it. Unfortunately her dad became very ill with cancer and covid hit a month later - this then delayed and halted some of her plans. But we know, God always has better plans in store!
During level 5 lockdown, a group of local business women and herself decided to create a little group where they would “trade” services and exposure. They would also motivate and encourage each other to keep pushing on. This is when Chanele’ received a word from God _ Colossions 3 :23 – Whatever you do, Do it for the glory of God.
This is when she decided to give back. She started doing bible verse chocolates to inspire and bless others. These have travelled all over PE and East London. She also worked with other small businesses in PE - Chanele’ believes that to be successful is not just to make money, its also about helping and building others up.
She loves creating and executing her customers' visons. For many working moms it’s really difficult to find the time to plan and source out themed items. Its always so gratifying to get excellent reviews from her customers. Chanele’ recently received a video from a mommy who surprised her daughter with goodies from her, it was the sweetest thing ever.
Her vision and goal is to have her own premises where she can promote and setup events and also a place where other small businesses can come aboard to showcase their talents. Chanele’ has come a long way over this year and she knows this is only just the beginning.
